Our mission to help with the core values we uphold were instilled by our company’s namesake. Farris Care Services was given its name in honour of our beloved grandmother (Farris), a woman who provided a great example of the impact that can be made by treating people with empathy, integrity, and respect. Our company was born out of a love and a desire to care for the woman that had so kindly cared for us throughout our lives as she grew older and began to experience the aged care and disability requirements that we all one-day face. We believe that all people who require care, due to whatever challenges they are facing, should be supported with the best of care and supports that are available.
Our team at Farris Care Services is made up of highly skilled professionals from our case managers to support workers and allied health professionals that take their roles seriously. We make it our priority to emphasise empathy when working with our participants and their families and ensure to the best of our ability that we are providing an environment where they feel valued and respected.
We believe in the importance of informed choice and take the time to educate you when needed about the supports that can be funded by your specific NDIS or Aged Care plan and how it can be best implemented to get you the most out of your plan. We develop a comprehensive goal orientated plan in collaboration with you to ensure that from the start of your plan until the end, your supports are working toward helping you achieve what is most important to you.
At Farris Care Services we emphasise the importance of appropriate mental health support and engage only the best qualified professionals to be a part of your care team. We strive to provide a nurturing and understanding environment in which you can reach your best potential by taking the time to listen and get to know you on a deeper level over time so that we can provide you with the quality support that is tailored to your individual needs.
