Retro Entertainment for Melbourne Seniors and Disability Expo

The Trebblets

Sassy vocal trio The Treblettes are the feature act for the Melbourne Seniors and Disability Expo this November.

Known for their smooth harmonies and groovy moves, Jennifer Sheriden, Alicia O’Brien and Fiona Lunney are a study in 40s, 50s and 60s glamour, song and dance. They cover hits from artists like The Andrews Sisters, The Beatles, The Chiffons, The Chordettes, The Platters, The Supremes, Elvis Presley, Lesley Gore, Linda Ronstadt, Martha and The Vandellas, and Wilson Pickett.

The Treblettes delight crowds at festivals, shopping centres, rock and roll events, vintage car shows, aged and lifestyle villages, RSLs and 50s diners, proving that you really can’t fool people who know their music!

They take their audiences back in time with choreography, dress, makeup and hair to match their music.

“Great outfits, great harmonies, great songs, beautiful = perfection personified,” Paul says on The Treblettes’ Facebook page, after hearing the trio perform at @772 Wine Bar in Caulfield recently.

The Treblettes will be performing at 10:30 am, 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm on both Friday and Saturday, 22 and 23 November, Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Between sets, the trio will interact with the crowd, sharing music memories and adding to the expo’s festival vibe. Over the two days, other live performances and presentations will also take place on centre stage.

The Treblettes are guaranteed to put a smile on faces and get people on the dance floor.

Entry to the Melbourne Seniors and Disability Expo is free for the general public. The expo links seniors and people with disability with over one hundred product and service providers as well as holiday, leisure, lifestyle and technology options.
